Farm fresh summer
Starting today, the days will be getting shorter! This week I’ll be feasting on blueberries, okra rice, ollalieberry crumbler, white peaches, dandelion green salad (with dried cherries, cold tomatoes, and hot bacon), and strawberry smoothies. Sigh of delight!

A good way to cheer up.
Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes (makes enough for 3 people)
(1) Mix (in large bowl)
1.5 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3-4 tablespoons turbinado sugar
(2) Mix
4 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup orange juice
1/3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
Mix (2) into (1), then add a container of blueberries. Melt butter in a pan and make pancakes.
